For many years both Home Affairs and Immigration Advisors have been working on building a professional relationship with one another.

Subsequent to the introduction of the latest immigration Act in 2014, the Forum of Immigration Practioners (FIPSA) was founded and became a registered institution with the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).

FIPSA membership exams

On 18th November 2016, FIPSA, held its final membership examinations, which three of the IBN staff members, namely Mr Andreas Krensel, Mrs Sue-Allan Mehl and Mr Kyle Ernstzen, wrote.

The three-hour examinations covered all sections of the Immigration Act and regulations, as well as the bill of rights and Constitution of South Africa, with a required pass rate of 65%.

Recently the results of the entry examinations were published, with all 3 members of IBN passing with flying colours. The result thereof is that Andreas, Sue-Allan and Kyle will be admitted as Immigration Practitioners.

IBN wishes to congratulate all 3 members on their achievement and thank them for their hard work and dedication.
