How to Apply for a Zambia Tourist Visa

  1. Submit the Zambia e-Visa application online.

  4. Print the payment receipt and show it to the immigration officers upon entry to Zambia.

Zambia Study Visa

Study visas in Zambia are for those who want to study at a recognised learning institution in Zambia.
Recognised learning institutions are registered with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Qualification Requirements for Zambia Study Visa

All children older than seven years who attend any school or tertiary education must apply for a Study Visa. Acceptance letters from registered learning institutions are the crucial documents in this context.

The following documents are required for an application for the Zambia Tourist Visa:
  • Photocopies of your current passport
  • Letter of acceptance from the educational institution or school
  • Status of the host, parent, or guardian if applicable
  • Chest x-rays
  • A cover letter to the Chief Immigration Officer
  • A copy of the application form that was sent to the institution in question
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • If applicants are over 18 they must provide a police clearance certificate from their country of permanent residence

Zambia Business Visa

The Zambian business visa is for those who want to travel to Zambia strictly for business purposes.
The business visa in Zambia is a multi-entry visa that is valid for up to 30 days per 12 months.
Business Visa holders can stay in the country for 30 consecutive days or spread them throughout the 12 months.

  • A cover letter addressed to the Director General that must be written on the company letterhead with full address and contact numbers
  • Invitation from the host company
  • A certified copy of the host company’s certificate of incorporation

  • Double- or Multiple-Entry costs are 5500R

How to Apply for a Zambia Business Visa

Applying for a business visa in Zambia is a two-step process.

Online:

  1. Create an account and complete the online application form.
  2. Upload electronic copies of the required documents
  3. Pay the Zambia visa fee. You will receive a receipt in your email, which you must print and show to the immigration officers upon entry to Zambia.
  4. Wait for the visa application to be processed. If your application is approved, you will receive a Zambia e-Visa approval letter, which you must print and bring with you when you travel to Zambia. Keep an electronic copy of the visa on your phone, laptop, or tablet, just in case.

Zambia Short-Term Work Authorisation

Zambia Short-Term Work Authorisation

The Zambian short-term work authorisation visa allows visa holders to live and work in the country for up to six months, including one renewal.

Qualification Requirements for Short-Term Work authorisation

Temporary employment visas are designed for foreign workers undertaking work for up to 180 days. Applicants must enter Zambia on a business visa and be in-country for submission of the application to the immigration services department in Zambia.
