You can visit New Zealand as a tourist but please be aware that New Zealand has certain visa requirements which are dependent on your country of origin. There are two kind of visitor visas, the first one is for people who would like to reside less than 9 months and the other one is an electronic visa and this enables you to stay up to 6 months. You’ll need enough money to support yourself and everyone included in your application during your stay and you must buy a return ticket of New Zealand.

There are 5 categories of visa to study in the country and the main requirements are: you need to have an offer from an educational approved by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority; A written guarantee from an institution or person that suitable accommodation is available to you;  evidence of sufficient funds to live on while you are studying and a return ticket to your home country.

There may be a number of visas you are eligible to apply for – each with its own criteria and application process. There is a range of work visas for people that work in a profession that is experiencing skill shortages or you need to have a job offer from a New Zealand employer. Most work visas do not have an age limit. Depends your age the visa can change and the requirements too. For a long-term or permanent job offer from an Immigration New Zealand accredited employer you could apply for a work to residence visa.

If you’ve been a resident visa holder for 2 years or more, and having a commitment to living in NZ you can apply for a Permanent Resident Visa. Once granted, you can live and work in NZ permanently and do not have any travel conditions.

There are two type of entrepreneur visas, the first one concerns people who have already lived at least 6 months or have operated a business for two years on another visa that allows self-employment. The other one is for people who want to work in their own business, you will need a detailed business plan and have at least to invest $100.000 in your business. If you’ve granted this visa, you can buy a business or set up a business without living permanently, or as a first step towards NZ residence.

There are two kinds of investor visas and both can offer you the residency permit if you are able to invest between $3 Million to $10 Million. To apply for it, you need to send an expression of interest telling us about your business experience and investment. Then, we’ll invite you and your partner and dependent children to apply. If you’re granted residence you can come to NZ with your family. All this information are susceptible to change refer to your type and amount of investment.
