Who we are:

IBN Immigration Solutions is an award-winning immigration company providing specialist immigration services for South Africa, various other African countries and some international markets.

Here at IBN, we take your privacy very seriously and will only use your personal information for immigration purposes. However, there may be times where we would like to contact you with details of other services and offers that may be of interest. If you consent to us contacting you for this purpose, IBN will communicate these offers via phone or through email.

Information we collect:

IBN collects information through various methods, including information actively provided by its lead providers, its customers and information arising from customer surveys and general feedback. The types of information collected are, contact information, identification information, financial, medical, police clearances and on occasion educational information.

Only information that is necessary will be stored. Any other incidental information will be redacted. You may request deletion of said incidental information at any time.

Information will be retained for no more than 5 years, which is necessary to fulfil reporting obligations as well as to further only necessary immigration services on your behalf. Thereafter, all personal information will be deleted.

How do we use your information?

We use the information that we collect, to operate, maintain, enhance and provide all features of the service to provide immigration services. We also use the information to respond to comments and questions and to provide support to users of the service. We process your data solely in accordance with directions that you provide to IBN.

How do we protect your information?

IBN protects information via password protection mechanisms, email zip folders, our CMS system and through encryption. In the event of a breach, you will be notified within 72 hours. IBN has data protection safeguards in place in the event of a breach. Our security protocol is of utmost importance in the protection of your personal information.

How do we share information?

IBN does not share personal information with any third parties except as disclosed in this policy. IBN may provide personal information to subcontractors & professional advisors which shall be bound by privacy obligations to assist IBN’s uses disclosed herein.
How do we process your personal data?

IBN complies with its obligations under the GDPR policy, by keeping personal data up to date; by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or returning excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss; misuse, unauthorized access and disclosure and ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data.

What is our Legal basis for having your personal information?

Processing personal information is necessary for the performance of a contract between you and IBN.
At any time, you have the right to lodge a complaint with IBN’s Supervising Authority.


By consenting to this privacy notice you are giving IBN permission to process your personal information data specifically for the person identified. Consent is required by IBN to process both types of personal data, but it must be explicitly given. Where we are asking you for sensitive personal data we will always tell you why and how the information will be used.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting your consultant, instructing him/her of your withdrawal and any further instructions forthwith.
