The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the South African Government Authorities and Lufthansa had a collaboration in enabling many of the Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s member companies, to bring their urgently needed technical personnel into South Africa to facilitate further economic growth and employment in the country.

A seamless routine has been established in managing and administering the flights. This initiative will continue during the course of August with two other repatriation flights planned for: 12 August and 26 August 2020.

More Lufthansa repatriation flights are planned for the months of September and October, provided that the international travel ban to/from South Africa will be further extended.

Should your company need to bring in technical experts please book flights on the Lufthansa website which was specially created for these extraordinary flights.
