Friederike Musy grew up in Berlin, Germany. After high school she took on the professional training required to become a legal and notary’s assistant. When she had successfully completed the professional training required in 2010, she was offered a position in an international law firm at its office in Berlin. In the following years she worked as the assistant to a partner of the firm, handling primarily legal matters in the field of real estate, tax law and pharmaceutical law.
During a visit to South Africa in 2014, she fell in love with the beauty of the country and its people, especially her now newly wed husband. Berlin’s loss is now Cape Town’s gain and we are happy and proud to have Friederike on board as part of the IBN Team in Cape Town.
She has taken on her new position in the beginning of January 2016 and it already feels as if she had been on board for a few years. Due to her self-reliance and experience, she is a real asset and independently handles in- and outbound visa applications to and from South Africa. She already has an established clientele consisting of foreign corporations as well as private individuals seeking assistance in attaining a business or work visa in South Africa.
One of her focus points is assistance to large international corporations seeking to send intra-company transferees to South Africa. But she is also an expert on the business visa application process on a smaller scale. For instance, Friederike has lately helped a increased number of European individuals seeking to attain such a visa in order to establish a guesthouse in South Africa.
